My take

I treat it like a brilliant colleague who has read nearly everything — but has never set foot in my branch, met my patrons, or seen my budget. So the work divides cleanly: where it has the knowledge, I let it lead; where I have the lived experience, I say so plainly and steer. The best results come when it knows to ask, and I know to tell. It's been trained — but it hasn't lived it.
